Happy Friday!

How was your week? I am feeling relieved after our first day setting up at Toy Fair. Though I throw a mean dinner party, event coordination is NOT my specialty. This is the first time we've set up and run our own booth at a wholesale trade show and I've felt super anxious all week thinking about all. the. things - fire-proof foam core walls! Signage! Shelving! Catalogs! I've been waking up in the middle of the night writing reminders like "buy yellow clipboard" for the past three weeks.

Luckily, Penny and Kevin flew into town today and we got the bones of our booth set up so I can rest easy knowing that tomorrow we can just focus on the fun stuff - merchandising! It's SO fun to be around all of our product and I can't wait for the transformation from a white box to something much more colorful tomorrow. It's the little things that get me though - I feel like I've officially MADE IT every time I look at our fancy branded Pipsticks order forms (with the carbonless copy thingies!!). I used to beg my mom to buy me order form books so I could play with them as a kid lol. It seems fitting to be surrounded by all of our goodies as we close out our ninth birthday month. Nathan sent me this video as a reminder of just how far we've come - it was shot in our backyard with our one employee and three (super fun) interns seven years ago!
