Happy Friday Penny!

How was your week? I. Am. ZONKED! All four kids had their first days of school yesterday (all at new schools in NYC!) and as you can imagine, there were LOTS of feelings in the lead up to the Big Day.

I can't tell you how happy I am to have this milestone behind us. That said, the moment I walked back into our apartment - without kids for the first time ever - I felt completely and totally pooped! I think the past three months moving cross country, transitioning the business, and getting everyone settled in finally caught up with me.

Isn't it crazy how sometimes just relaxing a little bit gives our bodies license to bulldoze us with months (years? haha) worth of tension! I spent last night recalibrating with a sticker collage and it did wonders. I just sat listening to my favorite Black Pumas album on the record player, stickerbombing the page (there may have been a big glass of wine involved too!).

Sometimes it takes a milestone (or two) to make us reflect on all that's happened - and doing so with stickers as my creative tool was totally therapeutic.

This weekend is our neighborhood block party (they're opening the fire hydrant as a sprinkler and bringing in an ice cream truck AND a cotton candy maker - my kids are beside themselves). Beyond that, I plan to chill out and toast to Pipsticks birthday week!
