Pipsticks + Everyday Explorers Collab & Giveaway!

Last year at Planner Con, I spent all my money at one booth – the Everyday Explorers Co. booth! I also became friends with the owner, Christine Herrin, who is an incredible designer and plannergirl.

Everyday Explorers Co. creates stickers, stationery, and clear stamps. Everything  is gorgeous, with incredible attention to detail and strong typography. The designer geek in me obsessed over how her simple designs were so bold and FUN.

At this year’s Planner Con, I convinced Christine to collaborate with us on some sticker sheets for our June subscription packs. Let’s chat with Christine from Everyday Explorers!

Where do you live? Where are you from?
I currently live in Manila, Philippines, and it’s the same place I grew up in. I just moved back home less than a year ago; before that, I was living in San Francisco for the past 7 years.

Do you have siblings (how many)?
Yes! Two brothers, and I’m the youngest (and only girl). I feel like that says a lot about how I turned out! 😉

When did you fall in love with stickers?
I remember it like it was yesterday — I think I was 10 or 12, I used to save up regularly to buy Lisa Frank stickers I wouldn’t even use on anything (they were too precious to stick so I’d lovingly stare at the sheets of stickers). Wish I used them though, I don’t know where they are now!

What do you do for work?
I run Everyday Explorers Co., a paper and clear stamp business! I’m also a freelance graphic designer with a background in publishing, and I’m currently working on two book projects on the side.

How long have you been in the creative industry?
More than 10 years! I got my first job magazine publishing in 2008.

What’s the thing you’re most proud of making?
Everything in the Everyday Explorers Co selection! I always get so excited when things I design go from Adobe Illustrator to physical product.

What’s an exciting idea you’ve had recently?
I’ve been in talks with some fellow local creatives and makers here in Manila to put up events, workshops, and pop-up shops. I’ve been getting excited thinking about the possibilities and planning them out for the next few months! Love getting to connect with the bigger creative community here.

What’s your favorite movie?
Ooh, this is tough. I do know I love heist movies though. I recently really enjoyed Oceans 8!

How many hours a day do you spend on creativity?
Probably around 5-8 hours! Most of my work hours have something to do with creative problem solving if I’m not creating 😉

What’s in your perfect trail mix?
Walnuts, almonds, pistachios. I recently tried some that were all roasted together and mixed with light curry spices and yum!

What’s the best present you’ve received?
A cousin recently gifted me with a pair of Apple AirPods and they’re seriously life changing! 😉

Thanks Christine! We are so excited to see your stickers in the 2019 June Pro and Kids subscription packs!

  1. i love those clear stamps 😍😍 but my allowance can’t handle all if I really want buy now. I’m really to sad hear that I saw some limited clear stamps that are going to face-off in the near months. Wish I could purchase now, before it runs out of stock. 😭

  2. Okay I’m a subscription member and I’m trying to enter this giveaway and every time I put my information it doesn’t say I have entered, it still says 0 entry.

  3. Paul McCartney got a little aid from his friends tonight, most of whom
he didn’t need, in the PBS airing of last month’s award ceremony at
the White House, in that your former Beatle received the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Background score.

The album title, Snakes and Arrows, is a reference towards children’s bet on the same
name and was inspired by the ancient Indian game Leela.
Neil Peart has stated that lots of the lyrics were inspired by his many motorcycle rides
    throughout North Our great country.

T typically the Park is a large music festival stuck Scotland during early July.

Probably of music you’ll find here is the similar to associated with most music festivals; a beautiful crossover mix of indie, pop and dance.

Something for most people. Headliners over the countless stages for
2011 include Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, where to play 918kiss,
    Blink 182 and Pulp.

Austin Powers -Original Movie Soundtrack: I swear to God.
It’s extremely good. Tend not to even apprehend. It conveys the feeling within the swinging ’60s in that exact tangerine shade you want to experience it in. Pop it in and locate a
miniskirt alongside headband and you’ll feel much like the coolest mod in London (even in case you are in, for example,
    Mill Valley).

Okay, I digressed, but that was important for me personally to talk about.
The point is my partner and i was in indie rock heaven in high school,
when one fateful birthday my Dad presented me with System of
a Down concert tickets (unbeknownst to him, I had changed my
music preference drastically). I accepted them hesitantly, but shrugged and figured I’d
have a major time despite the fact that I didn’t
listen to SOAD anymore – considerably more than simply
loved this band so much at some time in time that dad knew to single
them out, then there should be something with the love left
inside of me. Therefore i went.

Really the crowds are quite rowdy all the time, and everyone knows words.

That is all we look out for in a show really would crowds are receiving fun, if
the crowds are having fun, we are having fascinating
Chicago is leading the total country with this aspect. Their
crowds are even comparable or improved than where we come from which
is saying a lot I imagine. It really is our second home, and we have been it
each and every time we is there and proclaiming that they were lying.

It is in reality a good place to play, and have got playing the
Metro which we’ve played probably more than any other
    venue in Chicago.

I ‘m going to say yeah, at the minimum half record is. Can be a regarding things people like about our band and would like an explanation like about our
band which a lot up tempo and aggressive songs. We all
usually playing them, and writing them so almost all
the album is prefer this for for sure. It is in order to be be a normal Bayside release.

OK End up. As band member Tim Nordwind told me, the band’s
most recent album ‘Of the Blue Colour within the Sky,’ was partialy inspired by Prince’s ‘1999.’ Of course, this guitar rock band is acknowledged for its dance routines for
songs like ‘Here it Goes Again’ and ‘A Million Ways,’ which they often use during events.
    Be prepared!

  4. I so love the everyday explorer’s stamps and wish my budget would allow it! Your stickers are so awesome too – what a fab giveaway!
