Kitiya “Kit” Palaskas embodies everything Pipsticks is all about: color, fun and an artsy outlook on life! Kit is a designer, author, speaker and prop artist based in Australia. She is known for her unique prop installation and design where she uses different craft techniques in super fun and ultra colorful contemporary ways.
Her bold colors and quirky themes and have extended her career to retail, music, advertising and publishing. Kitiya is the author of Piñata Party, a craft book published by Hardie Grant and available in Australia, the UK and the USA.
We first worked with Kit on a sticker collab back in 2019 for our birthday month Pro pack and we loved her designs so much that we are doing it again for our 6th birthday!

Elaborately decorated cakes, gardening, collecting souvenirs, my 2 cats, color!

Milk, horror movies, frogs
What’s something that you are secretly really good at?
Touch typing (98 words per minute!)

What did you want to be when you grew up as a child?
An optometrist, long haul truck driver, and famous actor
What do you do for work?
A craft-based designer, workshop teacher, content creator and author

Professionally for a decade!

Building my business from scratch
What’s an exciting idea you’ve had recently?
To study a Masters in Production Design for film and TV!
