This month’s collab is our 2nd collab with Sareka Unique! You all LOVED her first round of designs and motivational stickers, so we brought her back for another round! This months design is fun, bright, and full of gold SHINE!
Sareka’s designs are the kind of abstract paintings that your artsy friend has in their living room: perfectly balanced and full of color and character. Her cool prints are so eye-catchy we HAD to get her good vibes feel in sticker form!
Sareka is an illustrator, designer and the founder of blackgirlsillustrate.com, a community celebrating black female artists with a DREAMY Instagram feed. Read on to learn more about her and her art.
She studied Visual Communication Technology at Bowling Green State University in Ohio and today she uses her skills to create fun and vibrant art prints, stationery, apparel and more.

What do you do for work?
I work fulltime as a designer for a Home Decor Manufacturer and I run Sareka Unique Designs and I am the founder of Black Girls Illustrate.
How long have you been in the creative industry?
About 14 years
One Thing I’m Proud Of
Last year I did a collaboration with YouTube where I designed a sweat suit for their top creators. It was such a great experience and the sweat suit is my new favorite thing to wear.

I have about 3-4 business ideas a day!

In the past I really loved sharpie pens.
How many hours a day do you spend on creativity?
Between 8-12 most days, some days I’m not creative at all
When did you fall in love with stickers?
I would probably say when I was 5 or 6 I discovered how such a tiny thing could be so amazing!
What’s your favorite Karaoke song?
TLC “No Scrubs”
What’s in your perfect trail mix?
Peanut Butter M&M, Macadamia nuts is all I need

I love Romantic Comedies currently I’m loving the “To All the Boys” movie series on Netflix

Happy Pocket Full of Money for the 3rd time
What’s the best gift you’ve received?
I have received a lot of gift in my lifetime and I am grateful for them all. If I had to choose a best gift I guess it would be the creativity I have been blessed with.
