You know what’s always made me weak in the knees? Brand new art supplies! Since childhood I’ve had an irrational addiction to pompoms, pipe cleaners, and googly eyes.
As the weather cools off, I start to fantasize about warm drinks and messy crafts. I work most nights so that I can take Fridays off and spend the long weekends making stuff with my kids. My approach has always been to arm them with supplies (preferably sparkly, sticky, shiny ones) and see what brilliant, wacky things we can come up with.
